Job Summary

DBL is seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Architect with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience in architecture and project design. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading high-end residential and commercial architectural projects from concept through completion. This role requires a strong blend of design leadership, technical expertise, and project management skills to ensure quality, innovation, and functionality in every project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the architectural design process, from concept development to detailed construction drawings.
• Oversee all design stages of projects, ensuring alignment with client vision, project goals, and brand aesthetics.
• Conduct site analysis, feasibility studies, and zoning research for new projects.
• Collaborate closely with clients, engineers, consultants, and internal teams to develop design solutions.
• Manage and mentor junior architects and design staff, providing direction and quality control.
• Review drawings and documentation to ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and deliver design presentations, 3D models, renderings, and material boards for client approval.
• Coordinate with contractors and site teams during construction phases to ensure design intent is maintained.
• Resolve technical issues and provide solutions in a timely manner during all project stages.
• Keep up to date with the latest design trends, sustainable building practices, materials, and software tools.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 8 to 10 years of proven experience in architectural design and project leadership.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of completed residential and commercial projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, D5, SketchUp, Lumion, Adobe Creative Suite, and other architectural tools.
• Excellent design sensibility, visualization, and spatial planning skills.
• Strong communication, presentation, and leadership abilities.
• Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and approval processes.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to deadlines and detail.
• Registration with PCATP or relevant professional licensing is preferred.
