We are currently seeking talented Senior Architect to join our team and contribute to our ongoing success.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Management and direction of a team of Resident Engineers and Site Engineers for overseeing the process works according to the specifications and quality control of the project.
- Identify the resource requirements for the effective supervision of the construction works and works with the project control team to gain client approval for the positions and equipment.
- Use effective project management and controls systems to regularly report on progress to the client.
- Monitor progress of construction plan and takes steps to ensure the goal is achieved.
- Establish and enforces an effective project quality control procedure.
- Choose and approve all material & subcontractors that is suitable to use in the project.
- Evaluate, selects, and adapts construction management and control techniques, procedures, and criteria to suit job tasks, and devises and implements solutions to problems encountered.
- Ensure that the Resident Engineer team members effectively identify manage and report project risks.
- Review and check project documents such as drawings and specifications and highlight issues that may affect or delay the progress on site.
- Review shop drawings submittals and provide feedback to other disciplines whenever needed.
- Attend site visit regularly and upon request to oversee progress on site.
- Attend the regular weekly basis meetings.
- Maintain consistency of site progress to meet deadlines.
- Thoroughly coordinate with Projects Manager in regard to payments, letters, approvals, meetings, etc.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from a recognized university.
- Proven experience in feasibility studies, concept design, detailed design, and construction documentation.
- Minimum 12 years of relevant experience is required.
- Strong experience in project coordination and multidisciplinary design management. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit Architecture, Adobe Photoshop, and Microsoft Office Applications.
- Sound knowledge of architectural design standards, building codes, and construction practices.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively
