Senior Architect (Collaborative Partner Role)

About the Opportunity

We are looking to collaborate with a Senior Architect or a small architectural team experienced in UK residential projects, including new builds, refurbishments, and extensions. The ideal partner should have a strong portfolio in the UK housing sector and be well-versed in UK Building Regulations, and planning approval processes.

This is a collaborative partnership, not just a freelance role — we’re seeking an architect (or firm) capable of handling concept-to-completion workstreams, documentation, and client coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design and documentation for residential projects (detached houses, apartments, conversions, etc.).
• Ensure full compliance with UK Building Regulations, planning permissions, and local authority standards.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, and landscape consultants.
• Oversee a small internal team to manage drawings, details, and submissions.
• Provide design presentations, planning packages, and technical construction sets.
• Participate in periodic progress meetings and design reviews.
• Maintain consistent quality standards and client communication.

Requirements

• 8+ years of architectural experience with 3+ years working on UK projects.
• Deep understanding of:
• UK Building Regulations (Part A–M)
• CDM & Health & Safety
• Local planning and council approval procedures
• Skilled in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Suite.
• Proven ability to manage a small architectural team or studio.
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong residential project portfolio (private housing, HMOs, mixed-use).
• Experience collaborating remotely with international teams.
• Knowledge of sustainable design principles (BREEAM, Passive House, etc.).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs300,000.00 - Rs500,000.00 per month
