About the Role / Role Overview

The Senior Architectural Engineer will oversee the architectural aspects of a major government airport project, ensuring compliance with design standards, technical specifications, and international best practices. The role involves leading design reviews, supervising on-site works, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve successful project outcomes over a contract duration of 36 months .

Key Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design development and ensure alignment with project requirements.
• Review, coordinate, and enhance master plans and architectural concepts.
• Supervise on-site architectural activities, ensuring compliance with specifications and codes.
• Conduct design and technical evaluations, ensuring quality and accuracy.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and stakeholders throughout all design and construction phases.
• Prepare reports, technical documentation, and progress updates.
• Utilize professional architectural tools and software including AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM.

Requirements

Education / Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a recognized university.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is preferred .

Experience

• Minimum 12 years of solid experience in mega projects (with attested certificates).
• At least 4 years as a Senior Architectural Engineer on government airport projects in the GCC.

Skills & Attributes

• Strong expertise in architectural design, master planning, and supervision.
• Professional proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, and other architectural design tools.
• Excellent communication skills; fluent in English and Arabic .
• Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
