SRP-Legal, a boutique law firm specializing in Technology Law, Data Protection / Privacy, Commercial Law, E-Commerce, Financial Technologies, Media & Communications Law, Corporate Law / Mergers & Acquisitions, Public Policy, Competition Law, Contracts Law, Intellectual Property Law, Litigation and Dispute Resolution, Tax Law and Capital Market Law.

THE CANDIDATE

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced lawyer to join our competition law practice. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 to 10 years of strong background in competition law, including antitrust regulation, merger control, and compliance. This role will involve advising clients on competition law matters, representing them in legal proceedings, and conducting legal research.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Working with and advising clients on a wide variety of subjects, as well as the ability to provide entrepreneurial, pragmatic, business-oriented advice related to the client's legal needs,
• Handling complex legal transactions in a fast-moving environment,
• Advising on the core practice areas of SRP-Legal, especially on Competition Law related areas is a must,
• Advising on a broad range of legal matters and on sector-specific requirements for transactional works

REQUIRED SKILLS

• LL.B., degree in law from reputable university (LL.M degree is an asset)
• Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in competition law with a reputable law firm or a company.
• Knowledge of and experience in the following subjects: data protection/privacy law, technology law, fintech law, communications law,
• Excellent command of both Turkish and English languages
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work efficiently and manage different matters at the same time.
• Strong passion to manage team and complex legal work in a diverse and multifunctional working environment.
