Senior Associate - GRC Reconciliation- MGN Egypt

Job Purpose :

This role will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of accounts reconciliations. Responsibilities of this role include performing complex reconciliations of Nostro and Sundry accounts, identifying and investigating discrepancies, and resolving variances in a timely manner. This role will also provide guidance and support to junior team members, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and contribute to process improvements. Attention to details are essential in maintaining the reliability of Nostro & Sundry reconciliations and enhancing the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the reconciliation process.

Key result Areas

1. Perform complex reconciliations of Nostro and Sundry accounts with a high degree of accuracy.
2. Ensure all discrepancies are identified, investigated, and resolved promptly.
3. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to address and resolve issues efficiently.
4. Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements during the reconciliation process.
5. Identify and mitigate risks associated with reconciliation activities.
6. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement enhancements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
7. Participate in projects aimed at optimizing reconciliation processes.
8. Provide guidance and support to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.
9. Share knowledge and best practices to enhance the overall performance of the team.
10. Maintain comprehensive documentation of reconciliation processes and issue resolutions.
11. Continuously develop expertise in reconciliation processes and reconciliation systems.
12. Mentor and train junior team members, contributing to their professional growth and development.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

1. Graduate with minimum 3 - 4 years of banking experience in General banking functions out of which 1 year core experience in Nostro & Sundry Reconciliations.

2. Good communication, analytical and computer skills.
