Bring your skills and experience as a real estate and international law attorney for Bell Textron Inc., a military and commercial helicopter company. This position is on site in Fort Worth, Texas, based at both Bell Commercial Business Center and Bell Headquarters, and supports all global locations. This position reports to the Deputy General Counsel of Commercial Business and provides legal analysis and opinions to Bell’s business units, functions, and senior management on a broad range of issues pertaining to real property, construction, market-entry structuring, property rights, regulatory, and establishing and managing legal entities in international markets. What you’ll be doing as a Senior Attorney:

• Be the primary attorney devoted to facilities matters and Bell’s governance and legal management of global legal entities.
• Deliver timely, practical legal and business advice to Bell’s domestic and international operations.
• Provide legal guidance on a variety of real estate related issues and policies including transaction financing, leasing, and construction.
• Manage and track legal entity licensing, local registrations, and general compliance and coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Manage outside counsel on real estate and corporate matters.
• Moderate travel is possible.

• Ability to develop legal strategy and objectives.

What you need to be successful:

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school is required.
• 5 years combined experience in commercial real estate law practice, either at a law firm and/or an in-house legal department. (If the experience is with an in-house legal department, a global company with manufacturing operations is preferred).
• Specific experience with Texas real estate and international commercial real estate is preferred.
• Good standing with at least one State Bar is required; (Texas bar is preferred).
• International entity governance experience is preferred.
