Role Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve exceptional espresso-based drinks, brewed coffee, and signature beverages with consistency.
  • Dial in espresso and calibrate grinders daily to maintain quality standards.
  • Master latte art and brewing methods (V60, Chemex, AeroPress, etc.).
  • Monitor and uphold specialty coffee standards for flavor, presentation, and speed.
  • Deliver warm, personalized service, engaging with customers to share knowledge of coffee origins, tasting notes, and brewing processes.
  • Handle customer feedback professionally and ensure satisfaction.
  • Foster a welcoming and memorable café atmosphere.
  • Mentor and train Junior Baristas, guiding them in coffee knowledge, service skills, and café procedures.
  • Support management in developing the café team through workshops and tastings.
  • Take responsibility for shift leadership, delegating tasks to ensure smooth operations.
  • Assist in café opening and closing procedures, ensuring operational efficiency.
  • Monitor inventory, restock supplies, and report shortages.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, equipment, and café space.
  • Conduct basic maintenance and troubleshooting of espresso machines and grinders.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum 4–6 years of experience as a barista in a specialty café.
  • Strong knowledge of coffee origins, processing, brewing methods, and latte art.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to mentor and train junior staff.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to handle peak service times while maintaining quality and composure.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Contract
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: From AED2,800.00 per month
