Senior Bookkeeper / Accountant (QuickBooks & Excel Proficient)

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Bookkeeper/Accountant with a minimum of three (3) years of hands-on experience, strong QuickBooks expertise, and advanced Excel skills.

This role will support a group structure consisting of five (5) operating companies under one holding company, including:

  • Two (2) multi-let commercial rental properties
  • Three to four (3–4) textile companies

The Bookkeeper will manage day-to-day bookkeeping and financial records across all entities. Our main accountants are based in the UK, and this role will work closely with them to ensure accurate and timely reporting, compliance, and financial transparency.

Key Responsibilities

1- Multi-Entity Bookkeeping (5 Companies under 1 Holding Company)

  • Maintain full and accurate bookkeeping for all operating companies.
  • Record and reconcile all financial transactions in QuickBooks (Desktop and/or Online).
  • Manage general ledger, journal entries, and chart of accounts for each entity.
  • Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.
  • Maintain intercompany transaction records and reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly management reports for submission to UK-based accountants.
  • Ensure financial records are clean, organized, and audit-ready at all times.

2. Property Accounting & Tenant Management (2 Commercial Properties)

  • Prepare and issue monthly rental invoices to all tenants.
  • Calculate and invoice tenants monthly for utilities based on individual usage.
  • Track tenant payments and follow up on outstanding balances.
  • Maintain tenant ledgers and payment histories.
  • Assist with drafting and updating lease agreements when required.
  • Monitor lease renewals and maintain accurate lease documentation.

3. Textile Company Bookkeeping (3–4 Textile Businesses)

  • Manage sales, purchase, and expense recording.
  • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
  • Track supplier payments and reconcile vendor statements.
  • Monitor inventory-related accounting and cost tracking.
  • Prepare internal financial summaries for management review.
  • Support profitability tracking across textile entities.

4. Reporting & Coordination with UK Accountants

  • Prepare monthly bookkeeping files and reports for review by the UK accounting team.
  • Provide requested schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures.
  • Assist in preparing year-end documentation for tax and statutory reporting.
  • 5. Administrative & Financial Controls
  • Maintain organized digital filing systems for all financial documentation.
  • Ensure proper internal controls and documentation standards.
  • Monitor cash flow and flag potential issues to management.
  • Assist in budgeting and financial planning where required.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
  • Strong proficiency in QuickBooks (essential).
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (essential).
  • Experience managing bookkeeping for multiple entities.
  • Experience with property accounting and tenant invoicing preferred.
  • Experience in textile/manufacturing accounting is advantageous.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.

Preferred Attributes

  • Experience working with international accounting teams (UK preferred).
  • Familiarity with intercompany accounting and holding company structures.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Professional communication skills when dealing with tenants, vendors, and accountants.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs150,000.00 - Rs250,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Lahore: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Quickbooks: 2 years (Required)
