Role: Senior Bookkeeper / Accounts

Full Time On-Site - Johar Town, Lahore
Hours: 1 PM – 10 PM (Mon to Fri)

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Bookkeeper / Accounts with strong command over manual accounting practices and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Must have an ACCA qualification, completed article ship, and proven experience in handling UK accounts. Candidate should be proficient in Excel, Xero, and other accounting tools, with strong knowledge of standard accounting practices and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records using manual accounting techniques in Excel
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations in compliance with international accounting standards.
• Manage VAT returns, corporation tax, payroll processing, and other UK-specific compliance matters.
• Handle bookkeeping, reconciliations, ledgers, and journal entries with accuracy.
• Prepare, review, and finalize UK accounts including balance sheets, P&L statements, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing.
• Monitor and manage accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Prepare and maintain budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, UK GAAP, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
• Work with auditors, tax advisors, and external stakeholders as required.
• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure data integrity.
• Support management in financial reporting, analysis, and decision-making.

Requirements

• 4 years of professional experience in accounting (UK accounts experience is mandatory).
• Chartered Management Accountant (Finalist) – ICMAP or CAF (Cert. in Accounting & Finance) or ACCA qualified with completed articleship (mandatory) or CMA
• Strong knowledge of UK tax laws, VAT, and compliance regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced level) including formulas, pivot tables, and reporting.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in financial modeling and MIS reporting.
