Summary

Phaedra Solutions is seeking an expert Senior Business Analyst with a deep background in pre-sales, high-stakes client engagement, and technical solution architecture. The ideal candidate brings a decade of experience bridging the gap between business vision and technical execution. You will partner with Solution Architects to transform complex client needs into precise technical blueprints and structured documentation. We are specifically looking for a forward-thinking professional who leverages generative AI and automation to drive data-informed decision-making and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities (KPIs)

Strategic Pre-Sales & Solution Architecture

  • Partner with Sales and Engineering leadership to define project scope, technical feasibility, and long-term strategic goals.
  • Spearhead the creation of detailed technical proposals, Statements of Work (SOWs), and rigorous project estimations.
  • Lead discovery sessions and stakeholder interviews to diagnose business pain points and architect growth-oriented solutions.
  • Design value-driven roadmaps in collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet and exceed client expectations.
  • Integrate AI-powered platforms to automate proposal elements, conduct market intelligence, and refine client profiling.
  • Oversee the development of RFI/RFP responses and high-impact sales collateral.

Requirements Engineering & Technical Documentation

  • Author high-fidelity documentation, including BRDs, FRDs, comprehensive user stories, and detailed system workflow diagrams.
  • Conduct iterative validation loops with stakeholders to ensure technical requirements are actionable and traceable.
  • Manage documentation lifecycles, ensuring a seamless thread from initial discovery to final delivery.
  • Use AI-assisted tools to enhance document precision, optimize internal business processes, and perform advanced data modeling.

Stakeholder Management & Consulting

  • Serve as the principal liaison between global clients, engineering teams, and delivery managers.
  • Translate intricate technical concepts into persuasive, accessible presentations for executive-level, non-technical stakeholders.
  • Foster enduring client relationships through a consultative, expert-led approach to problem-solving.

Innovation & Process Improvement

  • Identify and execute strategies to accelerate the pre-sales lifecycle through automation and AI-driven analytics.
  • Advocate for emerging technologies and methodology improvements to elevate the standard of solution delivery.
  • Maintain mastery of digital transformation trends, particularly advancements in AI, to lead high-level solutioning discussions.

Qualifications & Technical Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS, IT, Business Administration, or a related technical field.
  • Experience: 10 years of professional BA experience within the IT services sector, with a primary focus on pre-sales and solutioning.
  • Methodologies: Mastery of the SDLC, Agile frameworks, and modern solution design principles.
  • Tech Stack: Hands-on expertise in JIRA, Confluence, Figma, and Miro.
  • AI Proficiency: Demonstrated experience using Generative AI (e.g., ChatGPT, Jasper, ClickUp AI) for workflow automation, research, and data analysis.
  • Technical Breadth: Foundational understanding of APIs, cloud ecosystems, and complex system integrations.
  • Soft Skills: Elite negotiation, communication, and analytical capabilities.
