Senior Business Analyst (Product & UX)

About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned Business Analyst to join Qualix Solutions and serve as the critical link between our clients and development teams. In this role, you will own the requirements lifecycle from initial discovery through delivery and ongoing change management. You will work directly with SaaS founders and SME clients globally, guiding them through structured discovery sessions to translate business needs into clearly defined product features, workflows, and user experiences.

This is a hands-on, client-facing role that requires someone who can independently lead conversations, ask the right questions to uncover what clients actually need (not just what they ask for), and provide the development team with the clarity they need to build the right thing the first time. You will manage multiple projects simultaneously across web applications, mobile apps, and AI integration engagements.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements Discovery & Analysis

• Lead structured discovery sessions with clients to understand business goals, pain points, and desired outcomes
• Elicit and document detailed functional and non-functional requirements through interviews, workshops, and research
• Identify gaps, assumptions, and risks in client requests by asking probing questions drawn from prior project experience
• Define business rules, workflow logic, and system behavior for proposed features
• Create and maintain requirements documentation including user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows

Product & UX Definition

• Develop low-fidelity wireframes and screen flows that communicate feature intent and user journeys
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to ensure wireframes translate into intuitive, user-centered designs
• Define information architecture and navigation patterns for web and mobile applications
• Validate proposed solutions against client expectations before development begins

Client Communication & Guidance

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during requirements and scoping phases
• Guide clients through decision-making by presenting options, trade-offs, and recommendations based on experience
• Set realistic expectations around scope, timelines, and deliverables
• Translate technical constraints into business language that clients can understand and act on

Development Team Enablement

• Provide clear, unambiguous specifications to developers, QA, and project managers
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and story refinement sessions
• Serve as the go-to person for clarifying requirements during development
• Review completed features against original requirements and acceptance criteria

Change Management

• Evaluate incoming change requests on existing projects for feasibility, scope impact, and alignment with project goals
• Document change requests with clear rationale, impact analysis, and updated requirements
• Work with project managers to assess timeline and resource implications of changes
• Ensure changes are communicated clearly to both clients and development teams

Required Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or in a similar requirements-focused role
• Demonstrated ability to independently lead client-facing discovery sessions and workshops
• Strong experience documenting requirements as user stories, process flows, and business rules
• Proficiency in creating low-fidelity wireframes using tools such as Balsamiq, Miro, or similar
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum development teams and participating in sprint ceremonies
• Proven ability to manage requirements across multiple concurrent projects
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (client-facing role with global clients)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a custom software development or agency environment serving external clients
• Familiarity with SaaS product models and common SaaS workflow patterns
• Experience with Jira or similar project management tools for backlog and requirements management
• Exposure to AI/ML feature requirements or integration projects
• Background in or understanding of UI/UX design principles beyond wireframing
• Experience with compliance-related requirements (HIPAA, GDPR, accessibility standards)
