Market Research & Analysis
- Stay informed on industry shifts, public procurement notices, housing trends, and competitor activity to identify timely opportunities for growth
- Study competitors: what they’re doing well and where they’re weak. (Competitor analysis)
- Analyse data to inform strategies to demand patterns, pricing models.
- Decide how we can gain a competitive advantage.
Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Proactively identify and engage potential B2B clients such as local authorities, housing associations, care providers, social services, and private property managers.
- Utilise multiple channels (cold calls, email outreach, LinkedIn, networking events) to generate qualified leads and set meetings.
- Qualify leads to ensure they’re a good fit for a sale
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
- Maintain long-term relationships to foster loyalty and repeat business.
- Act as a bridge between the client and internal teams
Strategic Planning
- Develop short- and long-term growth strategies.
- Identify new business models, partnerships, and product opportunities.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, logistics and senior leadership to align vision.
Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain records of leads, prospects, and deals in CRM tools
- Provide regular updates to leadership
- Monitor sales activity, pipeline growth, and revenue outcomes using CRM tools
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with marketing to fine-tune messaging and campaigns.
- Work with marketing and operations teams to develop custom proposals and service packages that address client pain points
- Align with operations to ensure smooth delivery and onboarding.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- sales, or account management—preferably in logistics, removals, facilities management, disaster recovery, or property services.
- Excellent communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills with the ability to engage a wide range of clients—from council officers to private landlords.
- Proven ability to manage a full sales cycle from cold outreach to contract signing and ongoing relationship management.
- Self-motivated, with strong time management and organizational abilities.
