Senior Business Intelligence Analyst (Onsite, Lahore, Remittance Salary)

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
4+ years of proven experience in a Business Intelligence or Data Analytics role.
Strong expertise in SQL, including complex querying, window functions, common table expressions (CTEs), and performance tuning.
Ability to work efficiently with large and complex datasets.
Hands-on experience with leading BI platforms such as Power BI (including DAX), Tableau (including LOD expressions), or Looker (including LookML).
Solid understanding of data modeling concepts and experience designing schemas for analytical workloads.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate ambiguous business questions into clear analytical approaches.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex insights to non-technical stakeholders.
Practical experience working within the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem, including Power BI, Data Factory, and OneLake.
Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and experience using AI features within BI tools for predictive analytics and insights.
Experience with cloud data platforms such as Azure Synapse Analytics, Google BigQuery, Snowflake, or Amazon Redshift.
Proficiency in a scripting language such as Python or R for data analysis is a strong plus.

Responsibilities:

Design, build, and deploy robust BI solutions, including interactive dashboards, reports, and analytical models using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and Looker.
Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
Design, implement, and maintain scalable and efficient data models (e.g., star schemas) to support reporting needs.
Collaborate with business stakeholders across departments (Finance, Marketing, Operations) to gather requirements, understand KPIs, and deliver relevant analytical solutions.
Perform in-depth data analysis to identify trends, uncover opportunities, and provide data-driven recommendations to improve business performance.
Ensure data quality and integrity by establishing and enforcing data governance standards and best practices.
Mentor junior analysts, promote data literacy, and act as a subject matter expert for BI tools and methodologies within the organization.
