Senior Civil Engineer

HCO works on a wide range of project types, including residential, commercial, industrial, hospitality, retail, and healthcare.

We are currently seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join our team for a prestigious heritage development project in AlUla . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering and a proven track record working on heritage, cultural, or conservation-focused projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate civil works related to heritage site development.
• Review and validate design documentation to ensure compliance with heritage conservation standards and client requirements.
• Provide technical input on materials, construction methods, and restoration techniques suitable for sensitive heritage environments.
• Coordinate with heritage consultants, and other disciplines to ensure successful integration of modern engineering with traditional techniques.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to safety and heritage guidelines.
• Support in the preparation of reports, technical submittals, and documentation required for approvals and regulatory compliance.
• Act as a key technical advisor for construction teams and provide solutions for site-specific challenges,especially in historically significant or sensitive areas.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 12–15 years of experience in the construction and engineering sector.
• Demonstrated experience working on heritage, conservation, or cultural site projects is essential.
• Strong knowledge of traditional building techniques, local materials, and conservation best practices.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and team coordination skills.
