The Senior Cluster Facilities Engineer is responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance, and optimization of multiple facilities within a defined cluster or region. The role ensures high availability, efficiency, and compliance of all critical infrastructure systems, particularly in mission-critical environments such as data centers, industrial plants, or large commercial assets.

Key Responsibilities

1. Multi-Site Facility Management

• Manage day-to-day engineering operations across multiple facilities within the cluster
• Ensure consistency in maintenance standards, procedures, and reporting

2. Critical Systems Operations

• Oversee electrical, mechanical, HVAC, fire protection, and backup systems
• Ensure maximum uptime and reliability of critical infrastructure

3. Preventive & Corrective Maintenance

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for major incidents

4. Performance & Efficiency Optimization

• Monitor KPIs such as energy usage, system performance, and downtime
• Drive initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs

5. Projects & Upgrades

• Manage facility expansion, retrofit, and upgrade projects
• Coordinate with design teams, contractors, and vendors

6. Compliance & Safety

• Ensure adherence to local regulations, HSE standards, and industry best practices
• Conduct audits, risk assessments, and safety inspections

7. Team Leadership

• Supervise facility engineers, technicians, and contractors
• Provide training, mentorship, and performance management

8. Vendor & Stakeholder Management

• Manage service providers and SLAs
• Liaise with internal stakeholders, clients, and senior management

9. Incident & Emergency Management

• Act as escalation point for critical failures or outages
• Lead emergency response and business continuity planning

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Facilities Engineering
• 8–15+ years of experience in facilities or infrastructure engineering
• Experience managing multiple sites or large-scale facilities
• Strong knowledge of:
• HVAC systems
• Electrical distribution (LV/MV)
• BMS/EMS systems
• Fire & life safety systems
• Familiarity with mission-critical environments (e.g., data centers) is highly preferred

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: AED100.00 - AED200.00 per month
