The Cisco Collaboration & Security Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, support, security hardening, and optimization of Cisco-based unified communication and collaboration systems. The role combines expertise in Cisco voice/video technologies and network security to deliver a secure, highly available communication environment.

What You'll Do:

Key Responsibilities

Collaboration / Unified Communications

• Design, deploy, configure, and maintain Cisco Collaboration solutions including:
• Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM),Webex cloud, Webex control hub, Webex contact center, Cube
• Cisco Unity Connection
• Cisco IM & Presence
• Cisco Webex Calling / Webex Devices
• Cisco Expressway (MRA / B2B)
• Cisco UCCX / Contact Center
• Voice gateway (SIP, H.323 and SCCP)

o Call recording solution, Call billing, FAX, Third party attended console

• Implement dial plans, route patterns, SIP trunks, number translations, partitions and calling search spaces (CSS)
• Configure and support endpoints: Cisco IP Phones, ATA, and Webex devices
• Integrate PSTN using local gateway, cloud connect, or SIP trunks
• Perform upgrades, migrations (on-prem to cloud), and system expansions
• Monitor and troubleshoot call quality, latency, jitter, packet loss, and media issues

Security Responsibilities

• Implement and manage Cisco security solutions including:
• Cisco Firepower / FTD / ASA, Fortigate firewall
• SecureX / Umbrella / ISE / Duo
• Cisco Wireless
• VPNs (site-to-site and remote access)
• Certificate management (HTTPS, SIP TLS, SRTP)
• Secure collaboration environment:
• Encrypt voice traffic (SRTP)
• Implement TLS for SIP signaling
• Configure firewall and NAT for voice/video traffic
• Secure SIP trunks and WebRTC traffic
• Implement security policies, ACLs, access control, and segmentation
• Monitor threats and respond to security events related to collaboration services
