We are seeking an independent Senior Commercial Pool & Aquatic Systems Consultant to conduct a full technical audit and optimization of an already designed indoor commercial aquatic facility in Dubai.

This is NOT a wave technology role.

We are looking for a specialist in commercial swimming pools, public aquatic centers, and reinforced concrete pool basins.

The project includes multiple large indoor commercial pools within a high-performance environment.

Scope of Work (4-6 weeks structured engagement) Aquatic Plant & Hydraulics

• Hydraulic system validation
• Turnover rate verification
• Pump & filtration recalculation
• Balance tank sizing review
• Water treatment & chemical automation validation
• Evaporation load review (coordination with HVAC)
• Equipment schedule optimization
• CAPEX & OPEX benchmarking
• BOQ review and tender readiness support
• Final technical sign-off memo

Concrete Basin & Waterproofing Review

• Reinforced concrete basin review
• Crack control strategy validation
• Reinforcement cover in chlorinated environments
• Cold joint & construction joint detailing
• Waterproofing system validation (membrane / crystalline / liner systems)
• Expansion & movement joint detailing
• Pipe penetrations & embedded elements review
• Stainless steel & corrosion protection strategy
• Interface between structural and MEP systems

Format

• 4-6 week structured engagement
• Stage-based deliverables
• 1-2 Zoom meetings per week
• Limited on-site presence in Dubai (as required)
• Independent consultant reporting directly to Client

Requirements

• 15+ years experience in commercial aquatic engineering
• Proven experience with reinforced concrete public pools
• Strong background in hydraulic calculations & plant systems
• Experience reviewing waterproofing systems in indoor chlorinated environments
• Ability to independently review MEP & structural design packages
• No conflict of interest with equipment suppliers
