(Senior) Conflicts Officer

Our client, a leading international law firm, is seeking a (Senior) Conflicts Officer with strong expertise in Business Acceptance, Compliance, and Conflicts to join its Dubai office. Experience

• 2-6 years' experience in a Business Acceptance or conflicts role, ideally within an international law firm.
• Strong understanding of AML and conflicts regulations in the Middle East.
• Experience using Intapp Open, Walls, Orbis, and Accuity.
• Proven ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a global team.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day client onboarding and matter opening processes.
• Act as an initial point of escalation for queries relating to conflicts, AML, CDD, Intapp, and billing matters.
• Analyse conflict search results and resolve regulatory and/or commercial conflicts, including liaising directly with partners and fee earners.
• Assist with drafting and reviewing Business Acceptance policies.
• Deliver training to new joiners, fee earners, support staff, and members of the Business Acceptance team.
• Assist with lateral hire conflict searches.
