Role Overview

The Senior Content Writer will be responsible for producing high-quality written content across multiple channels, including websites, blogs, social media, and marketing campaigns. The role requires not only exceptional writing skills but also the ability to align content with business objectives, manage deadlines, and guide junior writers.

Key Responsibilities

• Research, plan, and create compelling, original, and SEO-friendly content.
• Write and edit content for websites, blogs, email campaigns, press releases, social media, and other marketing materials.
• Collaborate with marketing, design, and product teams to develop content strategies.
• Mentor and review work from junior writers to ensure quality and consistency.
• Optimize content performance using analytics tools and make data-driven improvements.
• Maintain a consistent brand voice and ensure content aligns with company goals.
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and best practices in content marketing.

Job Specification

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
• 3+ years of proven experience as a content writer, preferably in a corporate or digital marketing environment.

Skills & Competencies

• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
• Strong understanding of SEO, keyword research, and content optimization.
• Ability to write for multiple audiences and across different digital platforms.
• Proficiency in content management systems (e.g., WordPress) and MS Office.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret content performance metrics.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Creative thinker with a strategic approach to content development.
