Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Contract Engineer to join our team in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing contract administration, ensuring compliance with contractual terms, and mitigating risks associated with large-scale projects. This role requires strong negotiation skills, legal and commercial acumen, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Prepare, review, and administer contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Analyze contract terms and conditions to identify potential risks and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Lead contract negotiations with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to secure favorable terms.
  • Monitor contract performance, ensuring all parties fulfill their obligations.
  • Resolve contractual disputes and claims in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Collaborate with project managers, legal teams, and finance departments to ensure contractual alignment with project goals.
  • Maintain accurate contract documentation and provide regular reports to senior management.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations, standards, and best practices related to contract management.


Required Skills & Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Law, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., PMP, CCM, or similar) is a plus.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years in contract management, preferably in oil & gas, construction, or energy sectors.
  • Strong understanding of contract law, FIDIC, and other international contracting standards.
  • Proficiency in contract drafting, risk assessment, and negotiation.
  • Familiarity with project management principles and financial analysis.
  • Excellent negotiation and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder management.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Fluency in English (Arabic proficiency is an advantage).
