Job purpose:
Possesses and provides high level procurement and contract services to support the Department in procurement and contracting activities. Handle daily activities in high degree of initiative, confidentiality and judgment within established guidelines.
1. Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Record Keeping: Prepares contracts and maintain record keeping of all contracts in the system to ensure easily available in chronological manner and send periodic reminders before the expiry date of the contracts.
Contracts: Liaisons with Vendors in relation with contracts and serve as point of contact to solve contracts related issue amicably.
Checks and revise contracts, forms according to terms and condition as direction from management.
Compliance: Fully assists and supports any Government regulatory agency or internal audits
· Prepare and revise new contracts/tenders
· Negotiates with the vendors and performs research and analysis of any new contracts/tenders. Coordinates with procurements department.
Minimum 5 years of experience in the same role with a government entity is an advantage.
· Bilingual or multilingual ability preferred.
· Analytical skills.
