Senior Cosmetic R&D Formulator

We are seeking a Senior R&D Formulator to join our Research & Development (R&D) department, specializing in skin care and hair care products. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in cosmetic formulation and product innovation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, or a related scientific field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cosmetic product development.
• Proven experience in developing and formulating products such as:

Shampoo, conditioner, serum, cream, henna, perfumes, hair straightening products, etc.

• Excellent project management and prioritization skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop new formulations, shade matching, and reformulate existing products under management direction.
• Maintain accurate data and actively participate in solving formula-related issues.
• Conduct stability testing, including monitoring texture, pH, viscosity, and overall product stability.
• Prepare flowcharts and data summaries for review at each testing phase.
• Submit samples to the marketing team for approval and follow up on new product development.
• Prepare technical documents for all approved formulations, including procedures, specification sheets, and stability reports.
• Participate in trial production runs and collaborate with the technical team.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve quality issues during the product development process.
• Coordinate with the Quality Control (QC) team to ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and product specifications.
