Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cost Controller to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing cost control processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and providing valuable insights to support decision making across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement cost control systems and procedures to monitor project expenses and overall financial performance.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including budget versus actual comparisons and variance analyses.
• Collaborate with project managers and department heads to develop accurate cost estimates and budgets for new projects.
• Identify cost saving opportunities and propose strategies to improve financial efficiency.
• Conduct regular financial audits to ensure compliance with company policies and Saudi Arabian financial regulations.
• Manage and mentor junior cost control staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Participate in contract negotiations and financial risk assessments for new projects.
• Develop and maintain financial models to forecast project costs and profitability.
• Present financial data and recommendations to senior management in a clear and concise manner.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) preferred.
• 7-10 years of experience in cost control or related field, preferably in large scale projects or the construction industry.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Strong skills in financial modeling, cost analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.
• Excellent project management abilities and attention to detail.
• In depth knowledge of Saudi Arabian financial regulations and reporting standards.
• Familiarity with construction or engineering project costing.
• Outstanding analytical and problem solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management.
• Proven ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
• Willingness to work in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
