Role Description We are seeking a Senior Data Protection Specialist to serve as our compliance architect. You will be responsible for ensuring that all Tazamun platforms and internal processes comply with global and local data privacy regulations. You will bridge the gap between legal requirements and technical implementation, ensuring our users' data is handled with the highest standards of security and ethics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Global Compliance Framework: Design and implement data protection policies compliant with GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) for our European/Global clients.
• Regulatory Adherence: Ensure full compliance with all relevant data protection laws, including local Pakistan regulations (PECA) and other international standards.
• Audits & Assessments: Conduct regular Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and internal compliance audits to identify risks.
• Data Governance: Establish protocols for data processing, storage, and retention across our B2B marketplaces and internal systems.
• Training: Educate internal teams on data privacy best practices and legal obligations.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Experience: 10+ years minimum in Data Privacy, Legal Compliance, or Information Security Governance.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Deep expertise in GDPR is mandatory. Knowledge of CCPA (California), PECA (Pakistan), and other regional data laws is highly preferred.
• Certifications: CIPP/E (Certified Information Privacy Professional), CIPM, or CISA certifications are a strong advantage.
• Technical Understanding: Ability to understand IT infrastructure and software architecture to effectively guide development teams on "Privacy by Design."
• Education: Degree in Law, Information Security, or Computer Science.
