Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Scientist to join our team. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced analytical models to solve complex business problems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, design experiments, and build data-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in statistical modeling, machine learning, and a proven ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

* Develop and implement machine learning models using Python, with a focus on model explainability and prototyping.

* Apply statistical techniques, including MLE/MAP, Bayesian statistics, and regressions, to analyze data and generate insights.

* Utilize covariance analysis to understand data relationships and improve model performance.

* Implement and evaluate reinforcement learning algorithms for various applications.

* Design and conduct experiments to test hypotheses and validate model performance.

* Collaborate with engineers and other stakeholders to deploy models into production.

* Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science and machine learning.

* Communicate findings and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences through reports, presentations, and visualizations.

* Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to the team's overall growth.

Qualifications

* Master's or Ph.D. in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.

* 5+ years of experience in data science or a related role.

* Strong proficiency in Python and relevant libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, pandas, NumPy, TensorFlow, PyTorch).

* Deep understanding of statistical modeling, including MLE/MAP, Bayesian statistics, and regressions.

* Experience with covariance analysis and its applications.

* Experience with reinforcement learning algorithms and frameworks.

* Experience with model explainability techniques.

* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and concisely.

* Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.

* Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) is a plus.
