Clothivia is a rapidly growing luxury fashion and lifestyle brand based in Qatar, expanding across the GCC. We pride ourselves on delivering premium collections and unique shopping experiences. As we scale into new markets and strengthen our e-commerce operations, we’re seeking a Senior Developer to lead the build and optimization of our Shopify-based platforms.

Role Overview

We are hiring a highly skilled Senior Developer to join our Doha team. The role requires deep expertise in Shopify development (apps, extensions, APIs) combined with strong engineering fundamentals in modern front-end and back-end technologies. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining advanced features on Clothivia’s e-commerce platforms to support our rapid regional growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain custom Shopify apps, theme extensions, and “Shop the Look” features.
• Build and optimize Shopify page experiences, ensuring high performance and responsive design.
• Integrate Shopify APIs (Admin, Storefront, GraphQL) with internal and third-party systems (OMS, WMS, CRM, payments).
• Implement webhooks, metafields, and app extensions to support business logic (bundles, loyalty, discounts).
• Collaborate with marketing, operations, and product teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
• Research and apply Shopify Functions, Hydrogen/Remix, Polaris, and App Bridge for future innovations.
• Ensure code quality, scalability, and security across all platforms.

Requirements

• 5+ years of development experience with a focus on e-commerce.
• Proven expertise in Shopify: Liquid, APIs (Admin/Storefront/GraphQL), webhooks, app extensions.
• Strong skills in React, Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with Shopify Functions, metafields, and checkout customizations.
• Ability to design and build custom features (bundling, advanced promotions, referral programs).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Git workflows.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with Hydrogen/Remix, Polaris design system, App Bridge.
• Background in GCC e-commerce, logistics, and payments integrations.
• Prior experience in fashion or retail platforms.
