Dial Edge Telecom is looking for a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer / Linux System Administrator to manage and scale cloud-native, high-availability infrastructures for FinTech and media-focused platforms. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms, containerization, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, security, and high-traffic systems.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure & Cloud Operations

• Design, deploy, and maintain high-availability infrastructure on Azure, AWS, and on-prem VMware environments.
• Manage Linux servers (Ubuntu, CentOS, RedHat) including performance tuning, security hardening, and patching.
• Build and maintain hybrid and multi-cloud environments for cost and performance optimization.
• Implement auto-scaling, load balancing, and disaster recovery strategies.

Containerization & Orchestration

• Containerize applications using Docker and manage workloads with Kubernetes (EKS), ECS, and Docker Swarm.
• Configure Kubernetes features including RBAC, namespaces, ConfigMaps, Secrets, and ingress controllers.
• Manage microservices deployments and optimize resource utilization.

CI/CD & Automation

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Bitbucket, or GitLab.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Ansible, Terraform, and custom scripts (Bash/Python).

Monitoring, Logging & APM

• Implement centralized logging and monitoring using ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, Monit, or Checkmk.
• Set up APM and distributed tracing using OpenTelemetry.
• Configure alerts and incident response workflows via PagerDuty, Slack, or equivalent tools.

Security & Access Control

• Implement Zero Trust security models with RBAC and SSO (Okta/Auth0).
• Manage SSL/TLS certificates and secure cloud infrastructure via IAM, security groups, WAF, and DNS policies.

Databases & Backend Support

• Manage and secure PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis databases.
• Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes.
• Provide L2/L3 support for production systems in high-traffic environments.

Streaming & High-Traffic Systems (Optional / Plus)

• Deploy and manage live streaming infrastructures using NGINX-RTMP, FFmpeg, AWS IVS, CloudFront.
• Optimize systems for low-latency streaming and high concurrent user traffic.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 4–5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer / Linux System Administrator
• Strong expertise in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, VMware)
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong Linux fundamentals (networking, storage, permissions, LVM, SSH)
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting systems
• Strong scripting skills in Bash and Python
• Experience supporting production systems with high availability requirements

Preferred / Plus

• Experience in FinTech, OTT, or high-traffic consumer platforms
• Experience with live streaming systems
• Knowledge of Zero Trust security models
• Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
• Exposure to Java applications, Tomcat, and microservices architectures

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
