Senior DevOps Engineer - Remote

Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions. You will work closely with development and operations teams to streamline processes and enhance the deployment pipeline, ensuring high availability and performance of our applications.

Duties

• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub to automate software deployment processes.
• Manage cloud infrastructure on platforms like AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure to support scalable applications.
• Utilize containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes for efficient application management.
• Develop infrastructure as code using Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet to automate provisioning and configuration management.
• Collaborate with software development teams to integrate DevOps practices into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Monitor system performance using tools like New Relic, Splunk, or ELK Stack for log analysis and troubleshooting.
• Ensure security best practices are followed in cloud environments and on-premises infrastructure.
• Implement disaster recovery strategies and incident management processes to maintain system reliability.
• Conduct system testing, debugging, and performance tuning of applications running on various platforms including CentOS, Windows Server, and Linux.
• Provide technical support for production systems and assist in incident response efforts.

Experience

• Proven experience in a DevOps role with a strong understanding of IT infrastructure and cloud computing.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash (Unix shell), PowerShell, or Groovy for automation tasks.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools like Chef or Ansible.
• Experience with container technologies (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of databases including MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, DynamoDB, or Oracle.
• Understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, and identity & access management.
• Experience with enterprise software development using languages such as Java, C#, Ruby on Rails, or Go.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum) for project management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to Rs425,000.00 per month
