Senior Direct Buyer

Job Purpose:

To manage the full procurement cycle of material requisitions for EPC projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare bidder lists and manage RFQs and Purchase Orders
• Lead commercial and contractual negotiations with suppliers
• Coordinate with Engineering to finalize technical and commercial details
• Issue Purchase Orders and ensure supplier compliance
• Manage changes, variations, and PO amendments
• Monitor supplier performance, including delays and penalties (LDs)
• Support delivery by coordinating with QA/QC, Expediting, and Logistics
• Close out purchase orders and evaluate vendor performance

Qualifications and Experience:

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field
• 10-15 years of EPC procurement experience (Oil & Gas preferred)
• Strong experience in piping bulk procurement
• Good negotiation and contract management skills
• Familiar with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines
