Senior Director Portfolio Management

Role Summary

Playing a critical leadership role in driving the performance, alignment, and value realization of a strategic portfolio of projects across Vision Industries.

This position is responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of projects (from development, financing through construction and operation) ensuring alignment with corporate strategy, effective risk management, and optimal return on investment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution of projects across the full lifecycle: from shareholder agreement to start of operations
  • Ensure all projects and programs are aligned with corporate strategy and business objectives
  • Monitor and drive portfolio performance across KPIs, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Identify and manage portfolio level risks, ensuring mitigation strategies and contingency planning
  • Provide data driven insights and recommendations to support executive decision-making
  • Act as a key interface between project teams, senior leadership, and external stakeholders
  • Ensure adherence to governance frameworks, internal policies, and regulatory requirements
  • Drive effective stakeholder communication and expectation management across all levels
  • Lead portfolio optimization efforts to maximize efficiency, performance, and ROI
  • Ensure delivery of measurable business value across the entire project portfolio


Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in portfolio management, project execution, or business performance roles
  • Proven track record managing large scale, capital-intensive projects within energy, solar manufacturing, wind manufacturing, infrastructure or relevant industrial fields sectors.
  • Strong understanding of project lifecycle (development, financing, construction till
  • Solid knowledge of project management methodologies, governance, and performance frameworks
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze KPIs, financial performance, and strategic alignment
  • Experience in risk management, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional coordination
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills at executive level
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; MBA or relevant master’s degree preferred
