Job Position: Senior Draftsman – InfrastructurePosition
Location: Ajman, United Arab Emirates
Salary: AED 8,000 – 15,000 per month (depending on experience & qualifications)

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Draftsman – Infrastructure to join our engineering team in Ajman. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, coordinating, and producing high-quality technical drawings and documentation for infrastructure projects (roads, utilities, drainage, sewerage, irrigation, etc.). You will work closely with engineers, project managers, and designers to ensure accurate and compliant designs.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce detailed 2D and 3D engineering drawings using AutoCAD / Civil 3D for infrastructure projects.
• Develop and revise drawings for roads, highways, utilities (water, sewer, storm drains), and site grading plans.
• Coordinate drawings with design engineers and project teams to ensure technical accuracy.
• Interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and survey data.
• Ensure all drawings comply with UAE standards, local authority requirements (Ajman Municipality, Trakhees, etc.), and project guidelines.
• Review and update project documentation throughout project life-cycle.
• Support project teams with design improvements and drafting solutions.
• Maintain drawing archives and version control.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior drafting staff.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering / Drafting / Architectural Technology or related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Draftsman, with significant experience in infrastructure projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other drafting tools.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, site layouts, and construction documentation.
• Knowledge of UAE infrastructure standards and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in project coordination with consultants and contractors.
• Familiarity with GIS tools or Revit (added advantage).
• UAE work experience within infrastructure or MEP sectors.
