Senior Electrical Design Engineer

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in high-voltage (HV) substation design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, CDEGS, and MS Office applications.
• Strong knowledge of international standards, including IEC and IEEE.
• Good technical documentation, reporting, and team collaboration skills.

Role Responsibilities

• Design and develop earthing systems, lightning protection solutions, and cable layouts for power projects.
• Perform load flow analysis, short circuit studies, and reactive power compensation calculations.
• Prepare layouts for high-voltage indoor and outdoor substations, including AIS and GIS systems up to 220kV.
• Conduct detailed earthing calculations and prepare grounding layouts for power plants and substations.
• Select electrical equipment and hardware, and prepare installation and technical drawings.
• Perform cable selection and sizing calculations based on project requirements.
• Design lightning protection systems and prepare associated technical layouts.
• Support project teams in preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and technical proposals.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs250,000.00 - Rs350,000.00 per month
