Position Overview
The Project Manager for AllumiaX is responsible for overseeing and leading a team of Power System Engineers in the planning, coordinating, and execution of power system projects. This role requires a good understanding of power systems, strong leadership skills, and excellent project management abilities. The Project Manager will work closely with stakeholders, clients, and team members to ensure successful project delivery within budget and schedule with the highest quality.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Planning and Coordination:
- Define project objectives, scope, and deliverables
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Allocate resources, including personnel and software tools, to meet project requirements.
- Coordinate activities among team members, ensuring that everyone understands their roles and responsibilities.
2. Client Communication and Relationship Management:
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, maintaining clear and effective communication throughout the project.
- Address client concerns, questions, and requests promptly.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships by delivering high-quality work and meeting project deadlines.
3. Quality Assurance:
- Set and enforce quality standards for power system studies and deliverables.
- Review and validate the accuracy and completeness of study results and reports.
- Implement quality control processes to identify and rectify errors or discrepancies.
4. Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks and issues that may arise during the project.
- Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
- Monitor and address risks as they emerge to minimize their impact on project outcomes.
4. Resource Management:
- Manage human and technical resources efficiently to ensure that the project stays on track.
- Ensure that team members have the necessary training and tools to perform their tasks effectively.
- Monitor resource utilization to stay within budget constraints.
6. Scope Management:
- Monitor project scope to prevent scope creep (unauthorized changes or additions to the project).
- Evaluate change requests and their impact on the project's timeline, budget, and objectives.
7. Customer Interfacing deliverables:
- Oversee the preparation of reports, presentations, and documentation for clients and regulatory authorities.
- Ensure that reports are clear, concise, and align with industry standards and best practices.
8. Compliance and Regulations:
- Stay updated on industry regulations and standards related to power systems.
- Ensure that the consultancy's work complies with all relevant regulations and codes.
9. Continuous Improvement:
- Analyze project performance and outcomes to identify areas for improvement.
- Implement lessons learned from previous projects to enhance future project management processes.
10. Reviewing Timesheets
- Review and evaluate Timesheets to increase and maintain productivity/billability of engineers and projects.
- Give regular feedback and report to upper management about the Timesheets for people and project performance
