Job Description:

We are currently looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing electrical design and site supervision activities for a range of projects, ensuring compliance with local regulations and international standards. This position is best suited for a motivated professional with a strong background in engineering consultancy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead electrical design and coordination for various building and infrastructure projects.
• Review and approve electrical drawings, calculations, and technical submittals.
• Supervise and inspect electrical works on site to ensure compliance with design intent and quality standards.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines (MEP, architecture, structural).
• Ensure all works meet DEWA, Etihad Water & Electricity, and other authority requirements.
• Conduct regular site visits and technical inspections; issue snag lists and reports.
• Participate in design meetings, technical reviews, and progress meetings with stakeholders.
• Assist in resolving technical issues and site modifications.
• Ensure timely delivery of electrical deliverables and support construction teams as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s is a plus).
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience, with at least 7 years in the UAE.
• Strong background in consultancy engineering (not contracting).
• Deep understanding of UAE authority requirements (DEWA, DCD, DM, ADDC, etc.).
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Dialux, ETAP, Revit, and MS Office.
• Strong knowledge of MEP coordination, load schedules, and low/high voltage systems.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and report writing skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• DEWA/ADDC or DCD Accreditation/Approvals.
• Membership in professional bodies (e.g., IEEE, Society of Engineers UAE).
• PMP or similar certification.
• Experience in high-rise, commercial, residential, or healthcare projects.
