Qualifications, Certifications and Experience

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering or in a relevant technical discipline OR Diploma in relevant field with 3 years of additional experience

Master's degree or equivalent in Engineering or in a relevant technical discipline

Experience And Skills Required

4-6 years of relevant experience in a similar industry

Desired:

Experience in a large healthcare facility

Key Responsibilities of the role:

Supervising the planning and designing of all electrical works

Providing direction and guidance on any electrical system and/ or network design drawings

Providing advice on the type and arrangement of circuits, circuit-breakers, and equipment, based on calculations

Preparing and interpreting specifications, drawings and regulations for the use of electric power equipment

Overseeing delivery and installation schedules for machines, cables and fittings

Ensuring that completed works meet specifications and safety standards, contributing and adhering to the safety requirements of the operation

Assisting the Engineer in reviewing all electrical drawings submitted by contractors/ consultants

Managing and monitoring day to day activities:

Overseeing all activities relating to electrical works before, during and after the execution of the projects

Monitoring and ensuring that all works are carried out in accordance with the contract drawings, specification, instructions and programmers

Monitoring all planning, arrangement and control of material compliance testing/evaluation and ensuring relevant records are maintained

Planning and conducting regular record inspection and test activities for materials and workmanship

Approving and assisting the Engineer in resolving all recorded technical queries

Assisting and providing guidance to the Engineer in risk assessments

Pay: AED12,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
