Senior Energy Project Manager - Oman

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Project Manager to lead and manage High Voltage [EHV] projects in Oman . The ideal candidate must possess a strong background in managing EPC or turnkey substation - OHTL projects in line with projects standards.

The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for end-to-end execution of projects including planning, resource allocation, budgeting, progress monitoring, stakeholder coordination, & ensuring timely delivery in compliance with quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project execution plans
• Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines in coordination with stakeholders.
• Plan project resources, including manpower, materials, and equipment
• Lead and supervise all phases of substation construction and commissioning
• Manage engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure alignment with the project plan.
• Monitor project progress using tools like Primavera/MS Project and issue regular status reports.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation plans.
• Participate in progress meetings, technical reviews, and inspections.
• Ensure compliance with all contractual, regulatory, and client requirements.
• Manage project budgets and control expenditures.
• Track material costs, subcontractor performance, and variation orders.
• Prepare and submit invoices and payment applications.
• Ensure that all construction activities meet quality standards and safety regulations.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, and handover procedures.
• Conduct post-project evaluation and lessons learned.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
• 15+ years of experience in energy projects [ HV Substation - OHTL ]
• Proven track record in managing full project lifecycles
• Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills
• PMP or equivalent project management certification is an advantage
