Senior Engineer Projects Execution - Buildings & Facilities (Arabic Speakers)

Job Responsibilities:


  • Review contracts during work to ensure compliance with proposed design, material specifications, budget, contract and schedule
  • Ensure that all project-related HSE requirements are in place and monitored in accordance with the project management plan
  • Review works submitted by consultants and contractors and recommend appropriate modifications as per necessary requirements
  • Full compliance with the quality/specifications of materials/products/completed works and manage inspection/testing activities regularly during project implementation phases and during project handover in accordance with RTA’s project management policies and processes
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities related to the job and as assigned
  • Encourages the use of new technology, suggests cost saving techniques, facilitates improvement of safety procedures and encourages implementation of best construction practices
  • Effectively allocate material and human resources to ensure successful project implementation
  • Track project implementation and prepare regular progress reports and performance evaluation
  • Identify project issues and risks and participate in finding solutions and mitigation plans
  • Coordinate with all stakeholders involved in the project, including potential clients and partners, for instructions and guidance
  • Assign tasks to team members and track their progress to ensure successful completion # Organize and manage all project-related documents and data effectively
  • Define scope of work, prepare RFPs, evaluate bids and participate in selecting contractors for projects
  • Provide general technical support to project management, including budget management, expense control and general coordination
  • Monitor project implementation, evaluate results and identify areas for improvement
  • Create project schedules and timelines and monitor project progress during the implementation phase until it is delivered to the end us

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering in one of the following specializations (civil/electrical/mechanical/electronic) from an accredited university.
  • 5 years of working experience
  • Highly analytical thinking with demonstrated talent for identifying, scrutinizing, improving, and streamlining complex work processes
  • Computer-literate performer with extensive software proficiency covering wide variety of applications
  • Exceptional listener and communicator who effectively conveys information verbally and in writing
  • Resourceful team player who excels at building trusting relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Flexible team player who thrives in environments requiring ability to effectively prioritize and juggle multiple concurrent projects
  • Proven ability to develop quality standards, testing procedures, inspection reporting formats, and ability to conceptualize tasks and accomplish them
  • Good knowledge of statistical methods and their applications
  • Innovative problem-solver who can generate workable solutions and resolve complaints
