Senior Escrow Officer / Escrow Manager – Leadership Role (Austin, TX)

Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Escrow Officer ready to step into a leadership role overseeing Austin operations.

This is not a standard desk role—you will lead two escrow teams, manage both conventional and investor transactions, and play a key role in scaling a high-performing title operation.

You’ll work directly with ownership and have access to a deep bench of senior escrow professionals and real estate attorneys, providing a level of support rarely found in the industry.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee escrow files from open to close across multiple teams
  • Lead, train, and develop escrow assistants and junior staff
  • Review and ensure compliance with contracts, lender instructions, and title requirements
  • Prepare and review Closing Disclosures (CDs) and settlement statements
  • Handle complex transactions including investor deals, commercial files, and high-volume closings
  • Maintain accuracy, timelines, and client satisfaction across all files
  • Build systems where execution is handled by staff and managed at a high level by you
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for agents, lenders, investors, and clients
  • Review loan documentation such as contracts, loan applications, credit analysis reports, and underwriting conditions to verify accuracy and completeness.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years escrow officer experience (required)
  • Proven ability to manage or lead an escrow team
  • Strong knowledge of title commitments, title insurance, and closing processes
  • Experience with investor transactions (preferred)
  • Proficiency in escrow/title software (Qualia)
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
