Senior Executive (Procurement)

Position Title: Senior Executive – Procurement

Department: Supply Chain / Procurement

Location: Karachi

Reports To: Manager / Head of Procurement

Role Summary

The Senior Executive – Procurement will be responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities, vendor management, and contract administration in line with the organization’s policies. The role requires experience in negotiating with suppliers, ensuring cost optimization, timely availability of goods/services, and compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.

Key Responsibilities

Execute procurement strategies for goods, materials, and services required by the company.

Identify, evaluate, and develop relationships with vendors and suppliers in the telecom sector (network equipment, IT systems, infrastructure, services, etc.).

Prepare and issue RFQs/RFPs, evaluate bids, and conduct negotiations to ensure best value procurement.

Ensure timely purchase order issuance, tracking, and delivery monitoring.

Coordinate with technical, finance, and operations teams for procurement needs and specifications.

Maintain procurement records, contracts, and supplier performance reports.

Monitor market trends, pricing, and supplier capacity to ensure cost efficiency.

Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and regulatory requirements.

Support budgeting and cost-control initiatives by providing accurate procurement cost forecasts.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in procurement and supply chain processes.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).

3–5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the telecommunications or IT services sector.

Strong negotiation, vendor management, and contract management skills.

Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Sound knowledge of telecom/ICT equipment and services procurement processes.

Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.

Strong ethical conduct and attention to detail.
