Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Snr. Planning & Procurement Executive to join our Planning Department in the Print and Pack industry. As a Planning Executive, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and implementing effective production plans to meet client demands and optimize operational efficiency. The ideal candidate should have a strong educational background, possess excellent analytical skills, and have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in planning or a related field.
Snr. Planning & Procurement Executive
1- Key Responsibilities:
Planning Process:
- Update the Planning Report daily, incorporating information from the Sales Order sheet and production report.
- Generate Purchase Requisitions for all raw materials.
- Provide daily production reports to the Production Department.
- Follow up with the Production Department to ensure timely job completion
- Coordinate with the Production and Dispatch Departments to track the status of ongoing jobs and meet deadlines, especially for urgent jobs.
- Respond promptly to queries from the Marketing Department via email, ensuring timely and effective communication.
- Maintain a check and balance on both running and dead inventory to prevent dead stock issues.
- Coordinate consistently with the Marketing Department to optimize the utilization of dead stock.
Procurement Process:
- Oversee the complete procurement process for the following categories of raw material:
- Films
- Complete Packing Material
- Chemicals and Solvents
- Inks
- Glue
- Coordinate with the outdoor purchase officer for the timely procurement of local items and monthly consumables.
- Collaborate with various departments for purchase requisitions.
- Float Request for Information (RFI) and upload quotations on SAP for quotation comparison.
- Negotiate payment, credit, and other procurement terms with suppliers to procure materials in the company's favor.
- Create and email purchase orders to suppliers, and regularly follow up for timely deliveries to meet urgencies.
- Reconcile backlogs with suppliers.
- Coordinate with the accounts department for supplier account reconciliation and ensure timely payment clearance.
- Follow up with suppliers for the timely submission of Sales Tax Invoices.
- Source new suppliers.
- All other tasks assigned by Management.
2- Required Skills & Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or related fields.
- Demonstrated experience in planning and procurement roles.
- In-depth knowledge of inventory management and supply chain operations.
- Proficiency in SAP systems.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Capacity to handle tight deadlines and work under pressure.
- Excellent analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
