Job Title: Senior Executive – Procurement & Purchase

Location: Bhopal
Department: Procurement & Administration
Reporting To: Manager – Procurement / Head – Operations

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Executive – Procurement & Purchase to manage end-to-end procurement processes for IT Infrastructure and System Integration (SI) projects, as well as oversee the travel desk operations. The role requires strong vendor management, negotiation, and coordination skills to ensure timely procurement of quality products and cost-effective travel arrangements.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Purchase (IT Infra / SI Infra):

  • Manage the complete procurement lifecycle including requirement gathering, vendor sourcing, evaluation, negotiation, and finalization.
  • Handle procurement of IT hardware, networking equipment, software licenses, and other infra-related items.
  • Prepare purchase orders, contracts, and maintain procurement records as per company policy.
  • Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure best pricing, timely delivery, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders (technical, finance, and project teams) to ensure smooth procurement operations.
  • Monitor stock levels and initiate procurement as per project/operational requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, processes, and statutory requirements during procurement.

Travel Desk Management:

  • Manage end-to-end travel arrangements (air, rail, hotel bookings, cabs, etc.) for employees as per company policies.
  • Negotiate and maintain tie-ups with travel agencies, airlines, hotels, and transport vendors for cost-effective services.
  • Prepare travel itineraries, track travel expenses, and maintain related MIS/reports.
  • Ensure smooth travel experience for employees by resolving last-minute issues or escalations.
  • Implement travel desk policies to maintain efficiency and cost control.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Graduate / Postgraduate in Commerce / Business Administration / Supply Chain or related field.
  • 3 years of experience in Procurement & Purchase, preferably in IT Infrastructure / System Integration industry.
  • Exposure to Travel Desk Management will be an added advantage.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills.
