Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Façade Designer to lead the design, detailing, and coordination of façade systems for high-rise, commercial, and mixed-use projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in curtain wall systems, cladding, glazing, and architectural detailing, along with the ability to manage design teams and coordinate with architects, consultants, and contractors.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Technical Development

• Develop façade design concepts, shop drawings, and detailed fabrication drawings.
• Prepare system details for curtain walls, unitized systems, skylights, louvers, metal cladding, and glass façades.
• Perform design calculations, wind load analysis, and structural checks in coordination with structural engineers.
• Ensure all façade designs comply with project specifications, international standards, and local authority regulations.

Project Coordination

• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, MEP teams, and project managers during the design process.
• Attend design coordination meetings and provide technical support and presentations when required.
• Review architectural drawings and propose suitable façade system solutions.

Team Leadership

• Supervise and mentor junior designers and draftsmen.
• Review and approve drawings before submission to consultants or clients.
• Allocate tasks and manage deadlines to ensure timely completion of design deliverables.

Documentation & Approvals

• Prepare material submittals, technical reports, and method statements.
• Support authority submissions and consultant approvals.
• Maintain organized project documentation, drawing revisions, and design records.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 7–12 years of façade design experience, preferably within the GCC construction industry.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, Rhino, or other relevant 3D design software.
• Strong knowledge of aluminum systems, glass specifications, façade materials, and fabrication processes.
• Familiarity with international façade standards and codes such as ASTM, BS, and EN.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
