Job Description
Role Summary:
The Senior Financial Account Manager leads the financial management and advisory for high-value clients. This role ensures the delivery of timely, accurate, and insightful financial reporting, while providing strategic support in budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and performance analysis. In addition to leading day-to-day service delivery, they maintain senior-level client relationships, identify growth opportunities, oversee onboarding, manage invoicing and collections, and act as a financial advisor to support client decision-making.
Key Responsibilities

Act as the primary financial advisor for a portfolio of top-tier clients, overseeing end-to-end financial service delivery.

Finalize financial reports: income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and supporting schedules.

Analyze financial trends and provide strategic insights and recommendations to clients to improve profitability and financial health.

Support financial health reviews and deep-dive analysis, including budget vs. actuals, margin improvement, and pricing studies.

Represent the company in high-level client meetings and planning sessions, strengthening trust and long-term relationships.

Present and explain financial reports to clients, respond to queries, and ensure accuracy and relevance.

Lead onboarding for new clients: system setup, document collection, and service kickoff.

Oversee daily accounting activities (journal entries, reconciliations, AP/AR), ensuring local compliance (UAE/KSA).

Lead month-end and quarter-end closings, posting adjustments, and delivering accurate draft financials.

Review and reconcile bank accounts, intercompany balances, receivables, and payables monthly.

Ensure full compliance with accounting standards (IFRS or equivalent) and local statutory requirements in the UAE and KSA.

Collaborate with assigned Accountants to ensure data accuracy and timely reporting.

Collaborate closely with the Tax team to ensure seamless integration between accounting and tax services, aligning bookkeeping practices with tax compliance requirements.

Own billing preparation and ensure invoice accuracy before release; follow up on collections.

Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities through close client interaction and awareness of service needs.

Respond to client operational queries and escalate strategic issues to the Financial Services Manager when needed.

Mentor and review work prepared by Accountants, offering technical support and quality checks.

Propose and implement process improvements; help document SOPs and optimize tool usage.

Support ad-hoc tasks (e.g., budget vs. actual, backlog, inventory management, etc.).

Promote operational excellence by training junior staff and supporting system/process upgrades.
Qualifications
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (or related field).

Professional certifications such as CPA, CA, or ACCA (required).

7–10 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, ideally in a client-facing or consulting capacity

Hands-on expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning

Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for advanced financial analysis

Ability to interpret and present management KPIs and financial dashboards

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly with senior stakeholders

Experience in presenting financials to business owners and decision-makers

Experience mentoring junior accountants or managing small teams

Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment

Proven track record of handling complex clients or multi-entity groups

Fluency in English (C1+) is required.
