Position Overview
The Senior Financial Analyst will play a critical role in bridging the strategic objectives of the holding company with the financial performance of our subsidiaries. This individual will be responsible for conducting in-depth financial analysis, developing complex financial models, and providing actionable insights to senior management to support decision-making, investment appraisal, and performance optimization across the entire group. Proficiency in SAP ERP is essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:

Group Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Lead the annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning processes for the holding company and consolidate subsidiary submissions.

Management Reporting: Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports, including variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior years, highlighting key performance drivers and trends.

Strategic Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to evaluate new investment opportunities, mergers & acquisitions, capital allocation, and potential divestitures.

Subsidiary Performance Monitoring: Act as a key finance partner to subsidiary companies, analyzing their financial statements, monitoring KPIs, and challenging their performance to ensure alignment with holding company strategy.

SAP ERP Utilization: Leverage the SAP ERP system to extract, analyze, and interpret financial data. Ensure data integrity and contribute to the ongoing development of financial reporting templates within SAP.

Process Improvement: Identify and drive process improvements within the FP&A function, enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting and consolidation.

Ad-Hoc Analysis: Conduct special financial and business studies as requested by senior management (e.g., market analysis, profitability analysis, cost-benefit analysis).
Skills and Qualifications Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. An MBA, CMA, CPA, CFA, or equivalent professional certification is highly preferred.

7+ years of progressive experience in financial planning & analysis (FP&A), investment banking, or corporate finance, preferably within a holding company, large conglomerate, or top-tier advisory firm.

Expert-level proficiency in financial modeling with a demonstrated ability to build complex, scalable models from scratch (DCF, Three-Statement, M&A, LBO).

Mandatory hands-on experience with SAP ERP (specifically FI/CO modules). Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) or BPC is a significant plus.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, macros) and strong skills in PowerPoint for creating executive-level presentations.

Superior analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail and the ability to interpret large volumes of data from multiple sources.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the proven ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely to non-financial stakeholders and senior management.

Experience working in or with multi-subsidiary structures is crucial. You must understand the unique challenges of consolidation and intercompany dynamics.
