The Perseus Operating Group, a division of Constellation Software (TSX: CSU), is seeking an energetic, independent, and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join our finance team at our Contour office in Karachi. Successful candidate will be able to accurately maintain a general ledger, have a strong understanding of the intricacies of assets, liabilities, profit, and loss, and other financial transactions within an organization. The candidate will have excellent communication, business, and analytical skills. This individual is efficient, resourceful, and has the ability and willingness to maintain confidentiality. This role includes ongoing support and knowledge of the business operations, accounting policies, financial processes, and accounting systems.

Further, the Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for, maintaining financial records, reports, and account reconciliations, consolidating overview packages for month-end reporting, and assisting with month-end financial analysis.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning
  • Analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results, identifying key trends and variances
  • Prepare and present executive-level reports, dashboards, and KPIs to track business performance
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives and provide financial insights
  • Conduct scenario planning, sensitivity analysis, and risk assessments to guide decision-making
  • Coordinate and manage the annual budgeting process across departments
  • Monitor departmental spending and identify opportunities for cost optimization
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting in compliance with internal policies
  • Enhance financial systems and tools to improve reporting efficiency and data integrity
  • Automate recurring reports and streamline workflows using Excel, Power BI, or similar tools
  • Assist with internal audits and ensure adherence to financial controls and compliance standards

  • Possesses deep analytical skills with a keen eye for detail, capable of interpreting complex data sets and translating them into actionable insights

  • Upholds the highest standards of accuracy, ethics, and confidentiality in financial reporting and analysis
  • Thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments and demonstrates agility in responding to shifting priorities and evolving business needs
  • Committed to enhancing financial processes, tools, and systems to increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability

Education and Technical Skills:
  • Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; professional certifications such as ACCA, CMA, or CIMA are strongly preferred
  • 3-5 years of industry experience in a finance or accounting function. Experience with an international company is a plus
  • Working knowledge of GAAP, IFRS including the new IFRS 15 and 16 standard
  • Highly proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including sophisticated Excel workbooks and PowerPoint
  • Advanced proficiency in building and maintaining complex financial models
  • Experience with accounting technology including automated solutions and ERP's for general ledgers
  • Experience with Great Plains, Jedox, Concur, banking applications, or other similar programs is a plus
  • Skilled in preparing executive-ready presentations using PowerPoint or similar tools
Ability to manage, develop and implement new processes to align with best practices
  • Effective oral, written, and business communication skills
  • Professional interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and in a team
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines, multi-task, and work in a rapidly changing environment
