Senior Financial Analyst

Position

This is a full-time, exempt position that works out of WCF's Sandy, Utah headquarters and reports to the Director, Financial Planning & Analysis. The person in this position will be expected to work in the office four days a week. They are responsible for analyzing data, developing forecasts, communicating identified business issues to key stakeholders, and supporting business strategies. The expected salary range for this position is $80,000 to $111,300 depending on experience and education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, or finance; master's degree preferred.
• Professional certification as a CPA, CMA, CFA, or AIAF preferred.
• At least five years of experience with financial forecasting, revenue modeling, or other related responsibilities.
• General knowledge of accounting principles and budgeting practices and procedures.
• Advance proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with the Adaptive Planning program is preferred but not required.

Essential Job Functions

• Prepare and communicate financial results, critical financial analysis, an insight to business leaders.
• Develop premium, staffing, and other financial models to support our corporate strategy.
• Evaluate premium production sources and profitability.
• Understand loss, pricing, and other trends and provide recommendations to management.
• Preparation of the company's annual operating plan and multi-year forecasts.
• Evaluate and interpret budget to actual variances and provide advice to management.
• Prepare financial forecast and proforma financial projections.
