Senior Financial Analyst

Job Summary and Qualifications

Supports custom contracting in all financial aspects. Works both independently and collaboratively to provide various financial and savings/opportunity analyses for hospital facilities. This includes analyzing client purchase history, vendor proposals, market share data, trending, fully loaded supply/equipment cost, and other financial information as requested.

What you will do in this role:

• Accurate and timely savings and opportunity analysis of vendor pricing proposals
• Data cleansing and analysis of detailed facility purchase histories for Medical Device service lines obtained through Data Warehouse and other resources
• Effective communication of analysis results to contract management
• Creating executive level presentation materials and financial memos summarizing project valuations
• Ensuring accuracy and completeness of detailed pricing files as related to contract engagements
• Evaluation of price and product amendments to purchasing agreements
• Development of methodologies for performing financial and opportunity analysis of proposals and improving processes
• Ad Hoc requests from management
• Ongoing financial assistance as it relates to the management of purchasing agreements
• Interacts daily with both internal and external individuals
• Performs other related duties as assigned
• Interacts with IT for innovative product analysis
• Up to 10% travel

What qualifications you need for the role:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business
• 5-7 years of relevant experience
• Financial analysis and heavy attention to detail
• Experience manipulating and analyzing large amounts of data preferred
• Strong experience in MS Excel is required
• Proficiency in Power Query, Power Bi, Alteryx, SQL is preferred
• Prior experience in healthcare preferred
• Consulting experience preferred
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) required
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Organization skills required
• Innovative and Self-Motivated
