Senior Financial Analyst, Finance Accounting

The Senior Financial Analyst of Planning & Analysis will provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis to support the VP of Operational Finance, as well as participate in the preparation of the annual operating budgets and monthly reforecasts. This role is key in creating efficiencies, increase revenue, reduce expense and improve controls. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and Resorts World policies and procedures.

Primary Job Responsibilities - Includes but, is not limited to:

  • Lead/Support team of Financial Analysts in preparation of all analyses.
  • Support the Manager of FP&A on all budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analyzing efforts.
  • Provide supervision and development within the FP&A team.
  • Collaborate with team in identifying and executing analysis opportunities.
  • Oversee Financial Analysts and daily operations to ensure policies and procedure are being adhered.
  • Assist FP&A in setting up departmental and property reports, analyses and dashboards.
  • Consults with property leaders to understand needs and expectations.
  • Ensures accuracy and timely completion of all ad-hoc analyses and reports, metrics, and dashboards.
  • Prepares and analyzes actual financial results with appropriate comparison to historical performance
  • Ability to monitor and track expenses to pre-opening budgets and communicate results to leaders.
  • Contributes to financial management of Property by providing insights and recommendations on cash flow, cost identification and allocation, and risk management.
  • Adapt quickly and effectively to procedural changes; assist with other special projects.
  • Monitors standards, delegation of daily work, and running of all reports for the department.
  • Proactively learns the business across functional areas.
  • Develop relationship with property leaders to ensure strong communication between FP&A team and operating departments.

  • Manages Human Resources responsibilities to include quality hiring and training, staff motivation, feedback and development, promotions, discipline, and terminations.
  • Obtain and maintain position-specific licensing.
  • Use personal device/cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.
