Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate strong knowledge of NFPA Codes and Standards, International Building and Fire Codes IBC/IFC, UAE Fire & Life Safety Code and Saudi Building Codes.
• Provide the requirements and design criteria for firefighting and smoke control systems for all types of buildings.
• Design automatic sprinkler systems (wet system and pre-action system), standpipe systems, fire tanks and fire pumps for low-rise, mid-rise and high-rise buildings.
• Perform hydraulic calculation to determine the fire flow and pressure required using Elite Fire Software.
• Design clean agent systems including FM200, Novec1230, and Inert Gas for server rooms, battery rooms and critical IT equipment rooms.
• Participate in meetings, presentations and discussions with clients, reviewers and authorities to present and obtain approval on the fire protection systems designs and proposals.
• Respond to queries and requests for clarification from clients and contractors.
• Provide technical guidance and support to firefighting design engineers.

Requirements:

• An accredited bachelor’s degree in fire protection or mechanical engineering field.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant fire protection experience.
• NFPA CWBSP Certificate is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Proficiency in CAD and Revit software.
